Taken as prescribed, PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) reduces your risk of getting HIV by about 99 percent. If you are sexually active or use injection drugs, PrEP is worth a conversation. At Allies, PrEP care comes with regular HIV and STI screenings, routine checkups, and a team that answers your questions at every step.

Three ways to take PrEP

Every option is prescribed and managed by Allies providers. Your care team will help you choose the one that fits your health, your schedule, and your life.

Daily pill

One pill, once a day. You'll get testing every three months and a follow-up appointment every six months to keep your care on track.

An injection every two months

After two starter injections given one month apart, you only need one injection every other month. No daily routine to remember.

Two injections a year

For those who are eligible, long-acting injectable PrEP can mean just two visits a year for HIV prevention.

PrEP is for people who are HIV negative. Your first visit includes a lab-based HIV test so you can start safely.
