What is PrEP?

PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) is medicine that reduces your chances of getting HIV from sex or injection drug use. When taken as prescribed, PrEP is highly effective (up to 99%) at preventing HIV.

Are there different types of PrEP?

Allies for Health + Wellbeing offers PrEP as a once-daily pill and as injectables given every two months or every six months. Our PrEP navigator and our clinic team are happy to help you decide what kind of PrEP is best for you and your lifestyle. No matter what version of PrEP you choose, you can get your prescription filled at Allies Pharmacy.
