For Allies for Health + Wellbeing, 2026 will mark a new year and a new location for the HIV service organization, medical clinic and pharmacy.
In December, Allies will be moving from its current location on Penn Avenue in East Liberty to the 211 Tower, 211 N. Whitfield St., just a couple of blocks away. The clinic and Allies Pharmacy will be on the fifth floor, while the food pantry and administrative offices will be on the sixth floor.
The move gives Allies more space for its clinic and pharmacy as well as room to grow as needed, with an increased footprint of 25% for a total of 16,000 square feet.
Some features of the new location include:
Expanded Pharmacy: Larger pharmacy square footage will allow Allies Pharmacy to fill more prescriptions and serve more patients.
Increased Patient and Client Privacy: The redesigned space offers a pharmacy consultation room for patients to meet with a pharmacist to discuss new medications or to address questions the patient might have. Additional client meeting rooms allow for increased privacy as our case managers discuss sensitive topics with those in our care.
Additional Patient Rooms: We will increase our service capacity in the clinic with two additional patient rooms, allowing more patients to be seen at a time by clinical staff.
Additional Behavioral Health Counseling Rooms: Two additional counseling rooms will allow for more patients to be seen by behavioral health counselors.
Allies will be making the move to the new location in late December and will reopen at 211 Tower in January 2026. The clinic and onsite support services will close at the Penn Avenue location on Dec. 19. Allies Pharmacy will remain open on Penn Avenue until Jan. 8, 2026.
The relocation project was funded by generous foundation and individual supporters who are interested in investing in Allies’ future. To learn more about how you can support the Allies relocation to 211 Tower, please contact Alex Neal at aneal@alliespgh.org.
